| So, for some idiotic reason, I decided to play a pokerstars $1 Omaha H/L at 3:30 am. Stupid stupid stupid. Min cash= .25 cent profit. I'm cussing myself out over this decision. But thats not why I post. I post because of something rare happening. There's like 22 of us left outta 180 and I'm UTG and turn top two pair with two hearts. River comes a heart, my two pair get flushed away. I'm now in BB with 606 left in chips, and the BB is 600. So, I shove with my last 6 chips. I end up flopping broadway but only get up to 681 chips. So I'm in the SB now and shove for my 681 without looking at the cards. I end up flopping 2 pair and rivering a full boat, pushing me up to 2724. Next hand, I shove again with 3 4 9 9 double suited. Flop comes AA6, no one has an Ace, turn comes 9 and I beat both of my oppponents flushes and triple up to chip average. God though, I swear pokerstars is home to the non-american donk festival |

Ah another post that implies that donks come from everywhere other than America. I swear one day I will start a donk thread for people to note down where the worst player at their table was from. |

I'd say at least 80% of the players I have marked down as fish in notes are from the US. I actually seems to encounter far more European nits that I do European donks. |

I agree, though didn't want to say as much. However, saying that quite often the worst player at my table is a US one is not always a fair statement. Well, it's a fair statement, but the percentage of players at my table from the US is quite often high, and so there is of course more chance that the worst player will be from there.
Certainly bad players are from all over the place though, and definately not restricted to any one country. |

| I play mostly PLO cash games, and where the player is from is a pretty good indication as to whether they are betting with a made hand or are on a draw... I'm not saying it makes them better players, but I have a lot more respect from a US player who is potting vs a player from Europe. |

| I never even let nationality come into my decision making at the table. I've made some observations, but there's no way at all I'd base my plan on it. |

Most of the Russians I come across run at ~12/10/2 and play 6+ tables. |
