In this situation should I have just called and tried to win more chips from Villa Bled after the flop? Or was my conservative play the proper move?

| Raising with AA is never wrong. What would you say if you just called pre, bet and got called on the turn, shoved the river and Villa turns over 66? |

| I am pretty sure you never want to stop raising and reraising with AA before the flop. Ever. |

You're raising to get heads up with the short stacker and to get value from the limper if he decides to play. Flatting with AA pre is wrong 99% of the time.
Sometimes with the right table dynamic you can try and flat call in order to trap someone who's getting out of line squeezing every hand. |

raising with AA was the right move, however, posting the hand here without reading the sticky was not. please read it next time |

The only tournamnt scenario where i would fold aces preflop would be at a final table where 8 guys infront of me all had me covered and were already all-in.
Actually, nevermind, i just put AA up against KK,QQ,JJ,KK,QQ,65,88, and J8 and it was still at 55%..... |

| If 8 people were all in ahead of you, you'd definitely fold anything that you weren't 100% to win. 45% you're getting 9th in that situation whereas folding means you have a nearly 100% chance to move up. |

| I've become a big fan of slow playing aces, but I don't think this is the right spot for it. |
