Online Poker Forum - very dissappointed

two days ago i found out that a friend well i thought he was my friend had two full tilt poker accounts, and he recently won over $200 on one of them. we was chatting on yahoo and he told me. it really upset me because i do not like cheaters at all. so i thought about this and the more i thought about it the more it bothered me, so tonight i reported him to full tilt security and both of his accounts was closed and his funds was confiscated. I hope if anyone is reading this and you are even thinking about it, dont do it it isnt worth it. why risk losing your account over cheating?

do what? I am horrible for exposing him for cheating to win $200+ and no telling how much more, I dont want a cheater as a friend.

I'm torn... I can see both sides. I think there was a better solution to the problem though. Perhaps you should have confronted them and simply told them to turn themselves in or you would do it. This way, Full Tilt might have gone a little bit easier on them for being honest about it.

he will not get his money back, how can he? he purposely breached the terms of service at full tilt poker I mean how could full tilt poker send him his money back? he has two accounts plain and simple

i did try to mention it to him and when i did he said that he had all kinds of accounts, im like what? he said yeah he has several more accounts and pretty soon it became obvious he was just a cheater yes it did bother me because i thought he was cool. but if i told him whjat i was gonna do he would have went ballastic anyway and im sure he would have tried to move his funds. in my opinion he cheated to gain these funds

You are right... I was just saying that if you consider them a friend, perhaps you should have confronted them about it first. You shouldn't totally quit being their friend because of this either. We all make mistakes from time to time and have lapses in judgement.
