| Alright, I'm playing the super turbos and am wondering what kind of variance I can expect. Is going 20 games and not cashing normal? |

Depending on the stakes, 20 games without cashing is within the realm of normal variance, but it shouldn't happen often. In about 30,000 super turbos that I've played this year, my biggest out of the money streak was 24 games, and I have had a bunch in the high teens. On a broader scale, the variance in super turbos can be pretty intense and the games get a lot tougher as you move up. Assuming you are a winning player, don't be surprised if you have 3,000+ sng break even stretches if you're playing the $15s and above. You need a very high pain tolerance to succeed at these things, and just when you think FT has shown you every type of negative variance possible, you learn something new and terrible about how badly you can run |
