I'm on vista. I got disconnected while i was in the middle of a hand so I exited out of full tilt then when I tried to re-connect it said I had a software update to install. When I tried to install it it'd download for awhile then say that I couldn't download it, so I uninstalled full tilt and tried to re-install, but when I attempt re-installation I get this error message: >SetupNewsetup.cpp (135) Papp: PVENDOR: PGUID $ @Windows Vista Service Pack (6001) Non IE /Netscape Any help would be appreciated |

However if your issues are still not resolved, we kindly ask that you reinstall the Full Tilt Poker software following the below instructions.
First, please follow these three steps to clear your temporary Internet files/cache:
1) Close any applications that are using Outlook Express, Internet Explorer, or Windows Explorer.
2) Open Internet Explorer.
3) In the "Tools" menu, select "Internet Options" and then click "Delete Files."
4) When the "Delete Files" window appears, check the "Delete all offline content" box and click "OK." This will remove any unnecessary files that have been automatically stored in your system with previous internet use.
If you have saved player notes in the software that you don't want to lose, follow these three steps to back up this information first:
1) On the "Start" menu, click on "My Computer".
2) Select your main hard drive (usually "C:"), "Program Files", and "Full Tilt Poker". If you saved the software to a different location than the default directory when you installed it, go there instead.
3) Locate file called "[YourPlayerID].xml". The text in square brackets will be your actual Player ID on Full Tilt Poker. Copy this file and paste it on to your desktop.
Please reboot your computer and follow these nine steps to reinstall the software:
IMPORTANT NOTE->
This section, contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry.
However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly.
Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully.
<-IMPORTANT NOTE
1) Click on the "Start" menu and select "Control Panel".
2) Click on "Add or Remove Programs", select "Full Tilt Poker", and click on "Change/Remove" to uninstall the program.
3) Delete the file called "Fulltiltsetup.exe" from the location you saved it to when you installed the software.
4) Click on the "Start" menu and select "Run...".
5) In the window that appears, type the following in the text space: regedit
6) Click "OK".
7) Expand the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" folder and then the "Software" folder. Locate the "Full Tilt Poker" folder and delete it.
8) Expand the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" folder and then the "Software" folder. Locate the "Full Tilt Poker" folder and delete it.
9) Reboot your computer.
7.b) If you use windows VISTA, before install save the FullTiltSetup.exe file. Then do right click on the file and select "run as administrator" to install
This will complete the un-install process for Full Tilt Poker Client software. Please re-start your computer. After you login again after restart, please follow the instructions given below to install the software.
- Disable any download accelerator or download manager software you might be using.
- Reboot your computer, and download the software again from http://www.FullTiltPoker.com/download.php
- Click the "Download now!" button.
- A new window will appear with three buttons, "Run", "Save" or "Cancel".
- Select "save" and change the file name to something distinctive like "NEWFullTiltSetup.exe".
- Select the location where you would like to save the file and press "OK".
- While it is downloading, please ensure that the check box "close this dialog box when download completes" is un-checked.
- Wait a few minutes, when the download is completed, click "run" to start the installation process.
- If you see the security warning window, please select "Run" button.
After the installation is complete, you may need to adjust the firewall and security programs on your computer. Refer to the firewallâs manual or even contact its manufacturer for more information if you require further assistance configuring it.
HOPE THIS HELPS SOME OF YOU....looks like i'm off to that other well know poker site until fulltilt gets it's **** together...peace |
