|
|
| Hi guys. I havent been playing SNGs that much for real money so i am a noob. I have heard a bunch of people talk about turbos and shootouts and whatnot. what do those things mean? i think turbo means that the blinds increase faster or something, but not sure about shootouts. and if they're are any other common forms of SNGs, plz explain. |

The blinds in the Turbos increase twice as quickly as in the regular version. The Super Turbo is a Turbo, with a starting stack of 300 chips, as opposed to the standard 1500 chips. |

Cubbies is correct as far as he went. He didn't address shootouts. As I understand (i haven't played em), shootouts play down to the winner at each table. That winner then sits at the next level table, or at the final table, depending on the number of original entries. (correct me if I'm wrong anybody)
I don't know if you bring all your chips to the next table. Anybody know? |

That's right, and you start each new table with new chips. |

In the heads up shoot outs I've played you take ur winnings to the new table, so start 1st table with 1500, 2nd with 3000...
Just out of curiosity, has anyone played the 6handed shootouts? I've played heads up a few times, and it can take a while for all tables to finish... so how long would a typical 6handed shootout take?? |

| A knockout is when a portion of the buy is used as your bounty, so if you knock someone out, u get their bounty... |

For example: If your entered in a $10+1 tournament, they might reserve $2 for the KO. So for EVERY player you eliminate, you recieve $2 immediately. |
