Lol nope.

I did eventually stack him here though:

Grabbed by
NL Holdem $2(BB) Replayer
SB ($43)
BB ($44)
UTG ($42.45)
CO ($37.10)
Hero ($352)

Dealt to Hero TSpade KSpade

fold, CO raises to $4, Hero calls $4, fold, fold

FLOP ($11) 4Diamond THeart 2Club

CO bets $6, Hero raises to $12, CO raises to $33.10 (AI), Hero calls $21.10

TURN ($77.20) 4Diamond THeart 2Club 3Heart

RIVER ($77.20) 4Diamond THeart 2Club 3Heart 5Club

CO shows TDiamond 7Spade
(Pre 27%, Flop 13.9%, Turn 6.8%)

Hero shows TSpade KSpade
(Pre 73%, Flop 86.1%, Turn 93.2%)

Hero wins $75.20

Just wondering nil-why are you playing $2 NL with 4 guys sitting at a 1/4 the max buy in?

Aren't you at a disadvantage to 4 shortstackers when you consider risk v reward (your dope excluded).

I remembered an article about playing the short stack:

here's a link-little differentscenario as its a short stack against bigger stacks instead of a bigger stack against multiple short stacks but I don't see much reward to playing against $50 stacks:

http://www.cardplayer.com/cardplayer-magazines/65685-annette-obrestad-20-22/articles/17103-the-virtues-of-playing-the-short-stack

and Fletch-I excluded the dope because I'm presuming Nil didn't know he was a dope when he sat in. Obviously that player makes the game profitable.

The guy in all these hands is a reg. Almost all 200nl shortstacker regs are pretty bad and pretty much just grinding massive numbers of tables for SNE. Very few of them are good enough to turn almost any profit otherwise. The other guys in the KT hand are all worse than he is...

In general, though, assuming no one is that great, I certainly don't mind playing at a table full of them... their shortstacking advantage comes from sitting at a table full of full stacks, because the full stacks can't (or don't) always adjust to the shortstacks. But when it is a table full of them, everyone has the same effective stack size, and their advantage is gone. It's a bit like sitting at a cap game, actually, and I always did quite well at those when I played on FTP.

I don't necessarily seek out tables like this, but I do think they are profitable if I run across them in the lobby. I'd much rather sit at a table like this than a table full of regs.
