Darvin Moon kinda reminds me of Steve Dannenmann and Dennis Philips... looks/dresses like Dannenmann and has that country boy accent like Phillips. He's an older guy too, looks like he's in his 40's.

Interestingly, he does not play online! Wow. I wonder how much Full Tilt or PokerStars will offer him to wear their gear.

I don't think Moneymaker was 22 when he donked the ME.

alright so don't ask me what made me start wondering about this but what would happen if one of the November Nine were to die, etc before the final table resumed in November?

and 2nd question: did any of the final 9 win their seat on FT by chance? I really want to see FT pay out that extra $10million if someone from FT wins it

probably the same thing if the guy died before the final table was played out in a regular tournament when it was played the next day... I imagine his chips would be placed on the table and be blinded out. I would hope that's what would happen....

From what I have heard, an immediate family member could take over and play out the stack.

*disclaimer* I don't remember where I heard this though, and I cannot confirm it is true.

I've only noticed Ivey, Akenhead and Begleiter wearing FT gear. Akenhead is a professional, Begleiter said he won his entry in a league and Ivey is Ivey. So I don't think that anyone won their seat through FT.

I have grown tired of seeing idiots jump up and down and yell when they win hands, and watching guys who are marginal players at best get lucky and get far into a tounament. It would be refreshing to see a player like Ivey get to the bracelet. I will say that the last two guys last year looked like good players, but the year before Jerry Yang won and was a terrible player. That guy who ate blueberries was so obnoxious that the broadcast was unwatchable. Ivey does not act like or a moron, say stupid stuff, or act like a junior high girl (Negraneau).

last years November Nine was terrible. it was a complete DONK fest.....

it was basically just watching the 9 luckiest players in the world suck-out on eachother all night.

granted Eastgate and Demidov seem like legit players.

and Phillips did have another deep run this year.
