Everyone who loves poker should sign this. The more people that do sign, then the better chance we have for Obama to make poker 100% legal. Get you friends and family to sign it also. Post in here that you signed to encourage others to sign also. GL at the tables. Peace

| Already signed it. This is the same one PS and FTP asked us to sign and we could get into a freeroll, right? I think just about every American on FTP has signed it. |

| If it's illegal, how are you all playing? And why does no-one get punished for it? |

It's not illegal to play, with the exception of a couple of states. The law is convoluted (surprise), but basically it tries to control the banks ability to make transactions with gambling sites. Hence the deposit/withdraw problems in the US. |

| The current legislation is wacky... from my understanding, its not clear if it is legal for an American to play, but it is illegal for banks to process poker transactions. What we have now is keeping a majority of Americans from playing by denying credit/debit card and e-check deposits. The Federal government recently confiscated $30 million in poker funds that were pending withdraw to peoples banks. |
