The majority of moderatly good players do not bust on the river like that. I may have even folded to the 1200 chip bet probably not but maybe.
The reraise was terrible. If you do not realise you made a big mistake, than you are a below average player. I would be embarraced to post something like this as a "sick" bust.
It's not even an advanced play to avoid the raise allin on the river...u might stink |

Yor an idiot moron,He had a fullhouse, and his opponent had trips K's.You dont fold the better hand fullhouse to trips K's.

Again yor a moron, yes u do reraise,if u have have the fullhouse and u think the trips K's will call, and even if he folds thats good. Its a win win situation if he calls u get more of his chips,if he folds,u protect against the 4 outs he has to pair the board and beat u.
It's not even an advanced play to avoid the raise allin on the river...u might stink
Again yor a moron. He had the best hand a full house. His opponent only had a 9% chance to pair the board going from turn to river.Thats means his fullhouse was 91% to win.And so he got all of his money in and called on 91% chance to win.Thats smart play. And if his 91% to win gets sucked out on,by 9% to win, thats a way the hell sick bad beat he took.
U seriously need to learn about pot odds and percents and how to play poker idiot.

He is not gona fold to an all in on the flop.
by checking here and slowplaying, you set up a trap, whereby yor opponents bet and u either reraise or call.reraising is better because it shows more str of hand.
the reason why u do this and slowplay yor hand like u have the ultimate monster,is so that on the turn,u can again check reraise and show even more ultimate best hand strength, and the reason for this is so that by trapping and suckering chips into the pot to build a good sized pot,and then showing ultimate hand strength,u set up the play to be able to reraise all in,and maybe if the player is a great player will think or realize that u have A K outkicking his trips,or that u have a hidden fullhouse that is hard to see,and that maybe he will fold, and that u will get a huge pot, without having to face the 10% chance he will pair the board and get a better fullhouse.
Thats why he played it the way he did and it was smart brilliant play.

Thanks Mikah. I obivously agree with you as thats the way i decided to play it. As you say, there was no chance that the other player was going to fold if i went all in at either flop, turn or river. Its just one of those poker hands that does happen and you have to take it in your stride!
Not quite sure what dswanke is on about, i suggest adding and "r" to your username! |

CRPL...i strongly suggest not listening to mikah..as his advice really isnt good at all...
with the road that you took..thats probably the best way to have taken it IMO
but i woulda bet bigger on the flop and tried to force the all-in on the flop...but as played the turn is a good all-in bet
hes drawing pretty dead right now OTT (7 outs..14% chance hes winning the pot) ..so it was a good play..and you got beat
i STRONGLY suggest not listening to mikah |

it's sick but that is poker 1 out of 15 times you'll get rivered like that. it has happened to anyone who has played.
dswanke "The majority of moderatly good players do not bust on the river like that. I may have even folded to the 1200 chip bet probably not but maybe."
i say you would have pushed all in not just reraised him 1200. anyone would have pushed back look at the board kk36 he has 3 outs to beat you with the board 6 with his q maybe less you don't know how many 6's or q's were folded pre flop. he was 84% to win with his all in. i'll take a sick loss like this when i am 84% to win then a 16% chance of sucking out and having people like you call me a bad player because 8 out of ten times i will clean players like you out. |

first of all..there was 7 outs..not 3... i still like my chances ..but remember ...thats 28% OTF and 14% OTT roughly
id try to push in OTF as i said b4..but if you got it all in OTT then its ok..
the only thing i wouldnt like is if you DIDNT get it all in..cause im throwing that hand away OTR cause i KNOW im beat |

7 outs? there is 6 at best.
2 sixes, 3 queens, 1 k. no other cards in the deck help him win.
i was agreeing that he should be all in. and your right if i am not in by the river i am beat i see that from the board. if i had not known the cards i would know he had 3 k's by the raise on the turn you can take out 3 6's because he would have slow played bet another 400 to 800 to trap. he was betting on the set beating 2 pr. |

god you made me remember a painful hand when 17 players were left in the second round of the PAD, final 9 players go to third round, i was chip leader against an average stack
i have 77 in a 887 flop, slow play him beatifully getting all his chips but a few chips in the middle when a 5 hits in the turn. River is a painful 5. Once i saw that card, i didnt even have to see his cards to know i was beat. The way poker goes i guess |
