| I think it would be a good gesture and business move for Full Tilt to give players who generate a certain amount of rake without having rakeback a bonus equivalent to having rakeback. I have generated around $60,000 in rake this year alone! I am now forced to leave Fulltilt because it simply does not make sense to continue playing here without rakeback. It is very unfair for players who joined Full Tilt later then me to get it or players who cirmuvent the site rules and use multilple accounts without Full Tilt knowing to get it. This excuse about having an affiliate whom I have no idea who it even is for not being able to give rakeback is unacceptable. There is nothing stopping Full Tilt from starting a policy or promotion like I said to give frequent players a bonus as if they are getting rakeback. It would make more money for Full Tilt as some players would play more to meet this requirement and many players that play elsewhere simply because of rake back would rejoin. It would also satisfy some of your best and most loyal customers. |

i agree so much with you, its not right to not have it for new players and not for every one. stop it all togeter or give us all rakeback. but i think this would be a good option,u get rakeback if u play 25 days out of the month on the site because new players are not the people who have kept the site going over the years. |

I wish FT would reply to this thread, I find it incredible, that FT would reward new players with a rakeback benefit for the lifetime of their account, however someone such as myself, and many others, are ineligable for this benefit. I have been playing here for years, and can't get rackback! Years ago, when I signed up, I was unaware of rakeback.
If you step back, and interprut what this says........."We would like to reward our new customers with rakeback for using our site. To those of you that play everyday, and have done so for years, and also stuck with us during our growing pains, such as when withdrawal options were flawed, etc.... you are unable to receive rackback, EVER, what does that say to us?
It is no different from a company hiring someone to do the same job as thousands of other loyal employee's, and paying them at a much higher rate of pay, with no chance of existing employee's ever reaching that rate of pay, no matter how loyal those existing employee's have been.
Full Tilt, please explain to us, how you can justify this!!!!
It leaves those of us who have played here for years, but werent aware of rackback at the time of joining, little choice but to play elsewhere. It only makes sense financially.
By the way, In the last 3 years, I average about 5 hours or more a day, and play around 350 days a year. IT SCARES ME TO FIGURE OUT HOW MUCH MONEY I'VE LOST TO THE RAKE, that some newbie can earn, by just joining brand new.
Hope FT will respond

Maybe this will help point out the absurdity of this from the players point of view.....
Picture a poker room in a casino.....After opening a poker room in a casino, 3 or 4 years in, management notices that the same players come and play, day after day. In an effort to bring in new players, they offer reduced rake for new players. A new player that signs up, asks, how long do I qualify for reduced rake. Management says, forever! Wow, sounds great says the new player. He learns that the rake is 10% up to 5 dollars. (typical for a casino) but for new members, it's only 3 dollar max.
So the player joins, and when playing he has a "button that says $3.00 on it, so when he wins a pot, the dealer knows, that for this customer, he only rakes 3 dollars, instead of 5 dollars, had one of the many regulars won the pot.
How long do you think the regulars would continue to play, if after asking management, they weren't intitled to the same rake?
I know this sounds absurd, but it is exactly whats happening on full tilt with this rake back issue.
Please, Full Tilt, explain how this is fair for you're most loyal customers

| I agree this is insane. I rarely ever playing full tilt poker due to this reason. Either offer rakeback to everyone or have a vip program like pokerstars. I don't understand how come more players aren't upset. Plus I love the fact that ftp always say they are working on something for those without rakeback, and will contact you if something comes up. I've heard that bs for years!! |
