OK, theres a bunch of rakeback sites out there, and i feel dumb for not knowing anything about them.

Is it possible to sign up for one of these rakeback sites for FTP without having to create a new account and play on that one?

You can't sign you if you already have, or have had a real money account.
I think the only way is to create a new account. I'm not sure about your I.P. address though. If you need a new one then your screwed.

Bah. FTP was my first poker site and I didn't know about rakeback when I created my account.

My brother called me this weekend and asked "Who is the Hendon Mob?" I said a group of poker players. He asked "Why are they sending me money?" I explained to him that I signed him up for rakeback with them when I helped setup his account on FTP (he's a luddite). Then I had to explain what rakeback was. I'm so effing jealous. I wasn't really joking when I told him he should split it with me but he laughed and hung up.

yeah.. i think it's really a slap in the face to their customers to say "no, instead of letting you switch to rakeback, we'll continue sending the money to whichever sleazy website tricked you into putting their code in when you signed up"

The Hendon Mob has a waitlist for people who already have an account and want to have rakeback. i have heard that Full Tilt offered this once, and dont know if it will happen again.

I'd settle for having rakeback if they stopped charging rake.

Rakeback wouldn't be such a issue if FT didn't have such excessive rake against the average player (now watch all the FT lovers flame me for that comment).
