Have had the most horriffic week (10 Days) since I started playing here.
Began with a freeroll and got to $100 in $1-$2 tourneys. Started playing in .05 .10 ring games cap. moved up to .10 .25 increasing my stack all along to nearly $300. Was getting ready to move up another level.
AM back to the .05-.10 and will probbally go to the $2 tourneys since my BR is less than $100 now.
I Really dont think I've been playing this bad. Seems every hand I get It gets cracked. I've tried min betting, LA, TA, VERY TA every move I make is the wrong one no matter what. Today in a $3 capp game I lost $9 in 6 hands. QQ twice top 2pr OTF in 1. Earlier in the day lost $6 in about 50 hands. Played less than 20% of the hands (6 handed) and would not have played some of these if not in BB. I generally play pretty tight, depending on the table. I never go in a blind table loose, been outed too many times with AA 1st hand by 89os.

Anybody interested in commenting on my play?I have hundreds of hand historys. Is There a software I could put these HHs in to help??
Some of you guys have probally played against me, any comments?? Or is this just the run of the cards?? Gonna go with that for now and drop down another notch.

Could be just bad luck or maybe your playing a little differnt ie under pressure cause you bankroll is going down.

I think dropping down a notch is the correct thing to do so well played for that.

I had a huge down swing in my bank roll of around $1000, same thing no matter what i did i got beat....theres nothing you can do about bad beats so just keep playing the same game and you will recover like I'm doing right now.

post some hand histories of hands you had trouble with. don't post the entire hand at once. post each decision you are confronted with and get advice before you move on.

also, don't just focus on the hands you lose but also focus on the hands where maybe you didn't win as much as you could have.

The regulars really, really like it if you post your hands using a hand converter. It is definitely much easier to follow the action, pot/stack sizes, etc. I use the one at LeggoPoker.com. It's free and easy to use. You just cut and paste your hands into it and fill in your required settings. Click convert and then cut and paste it back into your forum post. The advice above on showing only portions of the hand is great and you can post through the river in general WITHOUT giving the results. That way you should get a clear, unbiased, non results oriented take on your play. These people are great by the way and very willing to help.

You could be right Rock. I'm kinda gunshy sometimes and afraid to put anything into the pot, cause when I do its the wrong move. Never seem to have the nuts and when I do fold around. Delt AA no matter what its wrong Smooth call either 23 outflops me or I,m in BB and fold around. Mini raise and fold fold.. big raise 89os calls & flops str8 or 4 flushes. It seems as tho if I go to showdown I'm beat.
Thanks for the encouragement. Its gotta change???

Thanks for the reply Mike. There really aren't any hands I have a problem with. I can usually see what I did wrong if anything. But with the way things have been going there is no right move. Example delt 55 EP smooth call folds to blinds both call. flop 569r. BB mini bets I 3xraise. he raises allin. Turns over J6 turn=9 river=9. im full 9s over 5s hes full 9s over 6s. Now he probally would have folded a preflop raise but ......

I have downloaded leggo(??) hand converter but it doesnt seem to do right. Its not showing my bets ???

Thanks again

A few thoughts.

- I don't think $300 is enough to play $.10/.25 NLHE. $500-$750 is more like it. Only move up in levels when you have more than enough bankroll to play comfortably.
- Don't get too down. I know losing 2/3 your banroll sucks, but you started with nothing, and you still have almost $100.
- If it makes you feel any better, I lost ten $100 deposits before I was able to hold onto my money. Most people go broke several times before they start winning consistantly.

When I use the Leggo Converter, I don't, haven't "downloaded" anything. I just use the converter tab displayed right on the upper part of the front page of the web page www.leggopoker.com. I haven't registered. I just use it. Anyway, It is important to set your settings in the blue field "Coverting Preferences". Select FullTilt Forums from the drop down, uncheck show results, check highlight bets/stacks, check condense Mult. Folds, check Hide Player Names and then cut/paste frrom your HH folder. Click "Convert". Cut/paste back to forum post. Sorry if I'm telling you the obvious. I've not had any problems doing it this exact way. If you've registered, I'm sure you can save these settings also.

Hope it works for you. Also, if you get outdrawn or coolered, hang in there. That's part of poker and if you read any of the other multitude of posts throughout these forums, you'll see that you're not alone. Apparently, everything is rigged and there are more bad beats on this web site than any other in the world today. Not really, but it seems to make 1000's of others feel good to blame it on FT and not on poker itself....be it skill or just bad luck. Good luck to you.

Thanks Sue.
I am playing the capped game. Capp is $7.5 and I didnt get in till I had $150. Had always got out if I lost the capp, dbled up ($15), or lost back to $ depending on how much I had won usually at $5 intervals. Lately its I'm never ahead, and I have lost more than my max that I have been using for some time.

Some further advice:

I do not like the small stakes NLHE cash games on here. I don't know why, but I don't do well at them. I do well in live cash games and tourneys, as well as online cash games, tourneys, and SNGs. But I lose money in the NLHE and PLO cash games here. The only online cash game I have had success with is FL O8B.

Mostly I play the 6-handed SNGs. I've found that with tight play, these are fairly easy to beat. Just wait till the first couple players get knocked out, and then start showing some aggression.

Try some different games, structures, formats, etc. until you find what works best for you.

OK so mabye I am that bad.??!!
Got my bankroll back up to over $300 playing SNGs mostly $2-$5 18. Then lost it back down to $250 in a couple of days. Yesterday I had played 2-300 hands and had gotten more than my share of little pp. Didnt hit crap. Sat out an hour or so and was playing 3 tables had 33, 66, 99 at the same time. Hit all three and lost all three. At one table there were 3 pp and all three hit----. Varience?? BTW during happy hour. Needless to say that hurt!!!!
There MUST be a different mind set to playing small tourneys and ring games. I don't have the ring game mindset.

Your luck sounds like mine. I keep getting busted just like you. Played one session and got tens about half my hands. Seems like your getting picked on. Do not mind getting beat, but when you keep playing with the better hands and still get beat its a little discouraging.
