I think there are too many tournaments in the freerolls for the WSOP seats. Because people know they can jump into a new game in a couple of minutes they play like maniacs hoping to build big stacks or take incredible long odds in stupid situations.
It takes the integrity out of the games because if you simply bet for value you get four or five people jumping in and your value hand loses to 3,4 off suite. It becomes like throwing darts blindfolded. Not sure if there is online Crap games but this must be the closest thing to it.
At Poker Stars you get one shot a week which seems like the other extreme. I think a few chances a day would be a good compromise to keep people more honest but still give everyone a chance to stay active.
When you get to the second leg people play much more soundly because they can't get back in so easily. |

The different between poker stars and full tillt is simple. You can play it every 3 - 5 minutes at full tillt but the following tournaments you have to play save or you have to start from the first tournament. I think if you play well and don´t do this "all in" **** what you say, you can win the first rounds easily. I´ve done it too and don´t go all in every round ....
The other point is the number of players in the tournament... at full tillt are 225 (1 / 2 get a ticket) and 450 (only the first get one) and at pokerstars you play the tournaments with thousands of other players.... so ... be ambitious and play your game ...
I hope you understand what i try to tell you!
good luck & nice hands

I was, in fact, familiar with all of that but thanks for taking the time to respond. My point was that if there were fewer tournaments people would be less likely to be insane when it came to betting.
But that does bring up a point...why 2 ticket wins for 225 and only one for 450? Not sure what the logic is there.
I'm just talking about finding the proper balance between too few and too many tournaments. And at poker stars the top 50 move on so the odds even out in fact are probably better but that wasn't really my point.
Thanks for jumping in. |

I keep having a problem with the round 2 tickets. I win one and can't seem to access it to register. I've tried the cashier button and my promotions but nothing happens, and I come to the site and still can't find anything that helps. I have to contact support every time and that is a pain because it takes a while for them to get back to me. Any suggestions?
As to the all-ins; I get a little crazy after a while and go all-in with them ( only with half-decent hands though) until I realize i'm playing their game not mine and calm down. |

I would be happy if they limited it to 1 per day. That would be fine.
dotcom = 2/225
dotnet = 1/450 |
