| Welll, in omaha you can only use two card out of the four dealt to you. You cant make a straight, flush, or even trips. To me it is an insta muck. |

| I agree on the insta muck except sometimes (in low enough stakes) I play it anyway because it looks so cool. When I play it I always raise with it aggressively to maybe bully everyone out of the pot. Then I show it. Showing it is good for two reasons. First it looks cool. Secondly, its likely many at the table will think you are a major donk and they will underestimate you for a while. |

| Did someone seriously just ask this question!?!?! I mean, if you're playing omaha in the first place, the answer shouldn't be toooo hard to figure out. LOL...4 of a kind...hahah! |

| Almost always an instant muck. I played AAAA once in a $2 HA sng for the fun of it and ended up winning the pot with what was either a reasonable read or a reckless call, AA was good on the river. |

It is nothig that i would go more than 5% of my chips with, but I would play a 4 of a kind for a few reasons-
1) You could play it mildly agressively than bluff at the end
2) You show someone you played with 4 of a kind and they think you are clueless
3) You go all in and bluff everyone out, they will think you are a big bluffer, so the next time you go all in someone will probably call you, and right there you doubled up(assuming you have the nuts) |

| If you are sitting at a passive short handed table (6 handed), I don't know I would "insta-muck" quad aces or quad kings. If I could see a flop cheap, and decide from there, that's my play. I've trips flop, and checked around all the way to river. I agree it's a horrible hand, but I think it may be worth a play just for the same reasons Deano7889 mentioned. ( I would cut and paste but I am at work on this Ghetto Macintosh). |

In a wild agressive game i once saw a complete retard go all in after a couple raises in pl omaha high, 1/2 stakes with aaaa in his hand, he came in fourth place out of four players, he had zero chance of winning the hand in my opinion unless the flop came 222. It's a horrible hand and it IS AN insta muck. Along with three of a kind in your hand in most cases. |
