Do you have to have a rakeback account in order to play on full tilt?

You'll just lose money if you don't.

Rake is what is collected from each hand of a ring game by fulltilt. It is also collected by everyone that eneters a MTT or S&G. Rakeback is actual an affiliate site that pays you back a percentage of the rake you pay in a month. Rakeback at this time is only for players that are new and have never had an account with the poker site.

Hey Stevie Ang

The rakeback rate is capped at 27% for all affiliates.

What differentiates between affiliates is the extra promotions they offer - for example Freerolls, Points Races and FTOPS races.

Best wishes

Nothing's free, bro. Sounds like he got a really good return on his $50 investment. You can't get it back now.

If he's a standard FTP affiliate he'll receive a % of what you pay into the site. Click on the affiliates link and you can read all about it and/or become an affiliate yourself.
