| Thats very rough, I probably would have checked sixth street, and seventh... since it was apparent nothing would get him to fold. |

You did just fine man, there is really not much you can do against a calling station like her. Just know that if she calls down with that crap, she'll call down again with anything, and that's when you'll build a chip stack!  |

On 6th st. he is still way ahead, tho the villain is clearly drawing live. Betting 6th here is called a "value bet", and checking is just losing value. 7th was a nice check, since villain is more likely than not to have made a T and it doesn't look like there's any chance she's folding. |

I bet the 6th as I figured the villian would be stuck with at least J high in which case villian was finished anyway regardless of my 7th. I just could not comprehend losing this hand. I figured if the villian was gonna chase to a 10 high (at best! could have easily ended up J,10) then I was gonna suck as many chips from him as I could.
Me bricking on the 7th really bugged me but I figured I still had a shot at winning but the villian was not gonna fold if he hit the 10. So I decided to just check and hope my stinking J7 was good. Bad luck I suppose, happens in Razz. Such an evil game.
Such a bogus hand, oh well, the villian ended up busting out and I still ended up taking 2nd for a cash. But I will remember this and will stack this villian everytime I find him...Grrrr. LOL

Yep i would agree with spazzspecial it was a rite check on the river as there is no hope of a bluff bet from you making this girl fold.
Dont worry about it because it is quite obv her razz abilitys are very poor which you will find often on horse games at any stakes.
us razz pros do enjoy a good old laugth at these threads dont we guys  |
