im playin in a 5/10 cent blind game and get aces. i make a large bet about 1$ flop is Q92 rainbow. i bet big again turn 3 i bet big again the only other player in the hand raises all in i call river is an 8 he turns over J10. he raised on the turn like he knew the str8 was coming.
this makes me wonder about cheats. i thought it was impossible but then u see something like this. |

| Micro limits......the donks at that level will call raises w/J10 and put all their money in on a draw. As annoying as it can be, you will beat them in the long run. |

| What's wrong with calling raises with J-T? Even if calling a $1 bet might be extreme, I'm more than happy to call a normal raise with a hand like that if there's a few others in the pot and I have position. |

They will do this alot. What you do is remember his name, search him out next time you play and sit at his table. He will be come your personal ATM. On the other side of it, maybe he is a good player that hit a string of bad beats, was blowing off some steam and just got lucky. One thing to remember is, if bad players didn't get luck every once in awhile then there would be no poker game worth playing. |

I think most "good" players are way too hard on the micro players. Lets put this in perspective here guys. You're at a table where $10 is the maximum you can buy in for. Lets say someone who isn't rich, but makes a modest salary of 50k per year decides to put in a couple hundred bucks into an online poker room. He doesn't care about this money, he's just having fun. It's his money and he has the right to do whatever he wants with it. If going all in with nothing but a flush draw is fun for him/her, then they can do it!
When I first started here, I played the micros, and had to play a much different game to "beat" the game. Now, I simply do not play that nickel/dime level for the exact reasons stated above. But just because I'm "serious" about the game doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of people on here just looking for a good time and aren't concerned about the money. I mean, really, what is ten dollars? It's friggin nothing when you think about it.
So... if you don't want players calling your all-ins with draws, gusthots, middle pair, etc. (why you wouldn't want this I'm not sure) then save up and move up in limits. I play a lot of .25/.50 and .50/1.00 and while there's plenty of "fish", there's still some decent poker. I also play .10/.25 and find plenty of chasing, but still a lot better play than .05/.10. |

so basically what you are saying from this and your other post is, if you push all in everyone should believe you and fold? okay, i'm pretty sure everyone will get right on that one.
note to self: if anyone ever pushes all in just fold, evern if i have the nuts. |
