I lost $120 with a FullHouse 9's over 5's to someone with 4 of a Kind 5's. Also a loser in this hand was someone with an Ace high Flush.
Odds of having a pocket pair: 5.88% (16 to 1)
Odds of having 4 of a kind: 0.024% (4,165 to 1)
Odds of me having a pocket pair: 5.88% (16 to 1)
Odds of me flopping a set: 0.1441% (694.16 to 1)
Odds of us flopping all this at the same time?! (ridiculous if you ask me).
Any one else compare to this bad beat? Probably not.

| maybe I don't understand but how are the odds of you flopping a set 694.16 to 1? I thought you will flop a set about 8 to 1. |

I played a hand like that the other day. Fortunately I check out of position and folded when someone bet the pot and was called by two players. And fortunately I only had a K-high flush draw.

| In a stud tourney i lost with quads to someone with higher quads.... Don't know the exact odds of that though but it must be pretty low. And maromb, he's first calculating the odds he will be dealt a pocket pair, and then the odds that he will hit a set with that pocket pair. |
