| mike caro once had quads and he just called with them on the river. the reason he did this was just to get his opponent on tilt. i think mike knows what he is doing. it seemed to make you a little mad so i guess mike's theory works. i doubt those guy knew what they were doing though. |

| The play i hate seeing the most, is when there is a big pot from a bunch of pre-flop raises, and then the first person to act after the flop MIN BETS! What do they hope to accomplish by this??? More than 75% of the time, the person will just fold to a raise so it seems like a pretty awful strategy. The other day there was a 3000 chip pot pre-flop in a tourney i was playing, and the guy min bet 100. |

| yeah that crap is freaking annoying! i have found that people with like small pocket pairs min bet into a pot like that after they hvae completely missed the flop. it's like people want to bet so they just pressed the bet button. to lazy to type in an amount or move a slider. |

If you really want to piss someone off, next time a friend who says "like" alot starts telling a story, count all the "likes" and after their done, tell them how many they said. Dont' even comment on the story. Good times. |

| a gutshot backdoor straight draw |
at first i thought it isn't possible but when i spend a second more thinking about it, is that it? -> K6 on a flop of 982. Is that a gutshot backdoor straight? heh heh |
A seven would give you an open ender, so I don't think you can call it that. 8) |

two possible options for min raise preflop to not be completely donkey.
a.) under the gun you hold aa min raise call , call ,call call ,, steal attempt ..now you have a huge pot to go all in and isolate or take the whole thing down.. saw a guy do it twice in one night and it worked both times..
b.)on the button you hold pocket twos .min raise everyone calls .. big pot , your only going to hit a flop 1/9 times and if all 9 players call your bet you are getting even money on your weak raise and with 9 players in there you are bound to get big action when you hit your set... |
