| 400 big bets is a good number. Hence you'd want $400 for $0.50/$1.00, for example. |

thanks guys,
think i'll go play welll within my limit for my first cash game at the lowest game available on this site for the mo.
I'll post a hand or two which I played terribly so that you lot can tear into my play and teach me a lesson or 2 later. |
