Does anyone know some decent sites that discuss omaha strategy?
I really enjoy this game but so far I just lose the money I make playing sngs right onto the omaha table. I can see weak spots in my game but unlike hold'em (where it is a matter of applying what I know) in omaha I actually don't know what to do.
A weak spot: I don't know what to do with top 2 pair. If I have top two pair and a nut straight or nut flush draw I usually bet it, If I have top two pair and medium/average draws I call small or half pot size bets, When I have no draws...this I just don't know what to do with. And I fear that I have played top 2 pair too strongly. But obvious appeal is for the boat, I am interested to know what others do with top 2 pair and what factors influence decisions. |

| Top two pair in omaha with no redraws is like bottom pair in hold em. You should fold it to big bets. As a general rule, you want to have the nuts, or have a draw to the nuts. |

One of the most important aspects of Omaha is your redraws. You cannot simply expect to win with your current hand on the flop without any redraws to back them up.
I do not know of any specific sites that have good Omaha strategy but 2+2 Omaha forums frequently have great discussions on hands. |

| top two pair is a hand you have to play carefully. You can play it stronger from a late position, its a hand that you bet and hope for a steal but can still hold up. I like having at least a gut shot when playing foir alot of money but generally if you are facing alot of raises then let it go someone could have a set and have you killed or have a wrap straight draw and a flush draw and you are a stitsical underdog to play it |
