I consider myself a good player at razz w/ 3 MTT wins. However one situation bothers me. Suppose I'm playing in the middle stage of a tourney or SNG with a decent stack. Lets say I start with a good hand 5 A 3 or something and put in the bets. 2 other players call showing good cards as well. Then on 4th street I catch bad while the other players catch good or decent. Is it worth putting in the next bet(Not raising but simply calling) to try and get to a good draw with 2 cards to come or just get rid of the hand. And if so say I have (5A) 3 Q, what are the odds on average because the number of good cards out will affect this, that I will make a 7 or better with the next 3 cards. Just curious to see if it's worth taking one more card or just taking a small loss and movin on.

In a three way pot, it is probably better to dump the hand unless you can call in last position. If there is any chance you might call a bet and then get raised and re-raised you have to fold.

Okay, thanks a lot Howard. I really appreciate the advice and hope to work it into my game. Best of luck to you in the rest of the series and best of luck in the Razz event and Main Event.

I agree with howard, although i think sometimes it is better to call a bet or limp in on starting hand to see the next card. Espcially if they show good cards, and bet alot. Peace
