What is the best way to stack chips . What way looks the coolest? I think it would be cool if people made words with the chips or something. |

| I usually don't get to intricate. I do something that allows me to access all of the colors easily, that looks nice, and doesn't get in the way. Making words with the chips is... erm.... and interesting idea, but the problem with it is that if you win or lose a big pot you have to spend another hour restacking and making a new word. |

Wrong thread, grip. I like to just stack them in amounts that I know how much it is. Like in my home game, each chip is worth 20 cents, so I have stacks of 10 (two bucks). |

Flat and wide, with the lowest denomination chips taller and in front. (I knock them down a lot less this way. ) I also find it throws the new players off their game really nicely. One of the more recent live MTT's I was at, I had some newbie get shuffled to my table, get involved in a hand with me and say "I raise you 5,000...that'll put you all in, right?" He hadn't noticed that I had any high value chips behind my stacks of smaller denominations, and when I pulled out a couple stacks of 5,000's from their hiding spot, "to give him a chip count," his face gave away the fact that he was not willing to go all in with what he had. So I reraised him all in and took the pot down with nothing.
Doesn't work against anyone who's played a lot, but I'll take any edge I can get, even if it's only against green players. |

| i love the pyramid style that ivey and other players use... it looks cool, and all your chips are easily accessible... plus, it looks cooler when you move in, lol |
