I know.

In my first paragraph I was actually thanking you for commenting on his discourteous post. (My apologies if it came off as sarcastic -- it was not meant that way.) I was also making a comparison of his reaction and yours by complimenting you on the fact that you didn't take offense at my correcting your spelling. As opposed to his reaction to my seeming to have a different opinion than his

You use too many big words......But no, I don't take offense when somebdoy corrects my spelling. I made an error, so I shouldn't be able to get mad.

Does anyone know how Sean Sheiky got his large sum of money? Although I could very well be wrong here, it seems to me by watching him play that he did not make all of it playing poker. IMO he plays extremely average if anything. Matusow is a great player, although IMO a complete piece of trash. And how did this thread turn into Matusow vs. Ivey? Comparing these two really doesn't make too much sense, because clearly Phil Ivey is on a whole different planet than Matusow, as well as most other players out there.

I heard that sean has been playing at high limits for ten years. I think he was mostly a limit player who switched to NL when it got popular. Thank you, I thought that it was just common sense that Ivey was on another planet than madasow, but some ppl on the internet apparently need something to argue about. And to whoever was talking about that circuit broadcast, do you know which one that it was? I couldnt find it.

-Shiek got his money from various tattoo parlers that he owns around Vegas.
-Matusow said that his best game was omaha (in which he won his first bracelet in (forget which variation though)) But saying who is better really depends on a persons opinion.
-Anyone can beat a poker player at poker, because it's poker, the only reason why a player wins more is because of skills, experience and a little bit of luck.

I believe that would be a grammar slowplay actually Jobe... A grammar check raise would be to ignore the ORIGINAL poster's mistake... allow OpDS to "lead out" by correcting the original post, but still making a mistake of his own.... then coming back over the top and correcting that new mistake.

Guys, They both are great players. If Mike comes out and wins 5 big Tourneys in a row or Two Main events in a row then we are all saying WOW look at Mike.

I think Mike is one of the best. He is my favorite Player. Ivy is also one of the best.

But then there are a few that make it to so many final tables it is not funny. They might not win it but they are always cashing. Should they be up there becuase they play at a steady level?

Poker is poker. Anyone of us could beat anyone of the pros on any given night.

The best poker player in the world may be playing next door to you in a get together dealer choose match. And they never get the shot to play in the bigger games.

Now you ask who is the best pro out there? Whom ever wins the tourney that day.

First off just because you underline something doesnt make it true. It not opinoin who is better. Just as Jordan is widely accepted as a better basketball player than steve kerr, ivey is widely accepted as bieng better than madasow. Regardless of where sheik got his money, he wouldnt last a year in the big game let alone ten, without going broke, if he wasnt pro. Get a life, im done with these stupid posts

Ok, no need to be rude. And player quality at those levels is indeed a matter of opinion. Hopefully you guys will cease with the insults and I won't have to lock another thread. I really hate locking threads. *sigh*

Go to cardplayer.com and listen to the circuit where steve dannenman is the guest, Madasow admits phil ivey is the best player in the world. You all need to stop acting like you know what your talking about, and someone should have taught u a lesson about keeping your mouth shut when u don't know what the hell your talking about.

Someone here needs a nap. You have less the 10 post, and you come off sounding negative. It is a forum and you can post what ever you want, BUT so can I. I never openly flamed you on any post, just stating my OPINIONS. If you have a problem reading posts you deem stupid, then stop reading or better yet leave.
