|
|
I picked up a tell on Chris Moneymaker. Watching the expanded version you will notice whenever he was bluffing or had a week hand he twitched his nose and his nostrils flared. THIS IS ESPECIALLY NOTICABLE on the so called bluff of the century hand when they have a good close up of him.
This is what to watch for... Just before the camera cuts to his father you will see Moneymaker's nostrils flare. And prior to this on this hand and others you will see him twitch his nose and his nostrils flare. He DOES NOT do this when he had a strong hand.
I'm not trying to pick on Moneymaker its just something I noticed and wanted to share it. Obvisously some will agree and some disagree but, my point is that its there whether or not you want to admit it or not. |

| Many people have picked up on this, and yes, this was a tell he did when he was bluffing. It has been confirmed that Chris was aware of it during the tournament, but he couldn't always control it. |

I dont believe he was aware of it. You can say anything after the fact especially when your the champ. |

| I believe that he was aware of it, but I don't really have any idea as to whether he was or wasn't... I'm simply reporting on what I heard from him. |

| You're obsessed with Moneymaker, and I feel his tell on Farha of using the left hand when bluffing works to Farha's advantage now. I read an online poker blog and Farha(apparently) uses his left hand for bluffs AND great hands since Moneymaker came out on his final table feature during the 2003 WSOP. I thought before that Moneymaker should've kept this private or atleast not told something like this on national television. |

How could he possibly be aware of it when that was the first time he ever played live!!! |

| Even beginner players can notice stuff about themselves. Also, he had his father and some friends that were sweating him the whole time, and they may have noticed and let him know. |
