The people at this table typically raise preflop with AA in any position (not sure about Tudor though) and get pretty aggressive with trips if they have it, so I wasn't really concerned with that; all I was concerned with was a higher two pair (A high) and a flush draw (which I wouldn't have had any part of).

Comments?

Definite fold here. You don't have any draws to a higher hand, and your chances of having the best hand here are low. If you do have the best hand you're probably a dog because there are a lot of potential draws out there.

when you play omaha and you have something mediocre like 2 pair, you need to have some sort of draw to protect that hand... omaha is a game of action and drawing, so you must be able to protect hands by having a draw yourself...

PS, having two pair in omaha is like having one pair in hold em... most of the time, its just no good when there are 3-5 ppl in the hand

Good fold on the flop. I just wanted to mention that it was a nice play to make given the fact that you were playing out of the BB in an unraised pot. You could throw the bottom two pair away and lose the ten cents for your post. Or you can go forward with a marginal hand and bad draw(for under full house, which may not be any good) and lose more chips than you would like too lose, with a hand you probably wouldn't be in there with by choice. I can remember more than a few times losing a lot of chips because I flopped the best hand from the blind, and tried to protect it when I was either a small favorite or an underdog to win, and it just didn't hold up. Sucks to see it would have won, but I'm sure as you develop your confidence, and reading abilities of your oppenents you will know when your marginal hands are best, and recognize the profitable situations they will sometimes provide.

One thing nobodys mentioned...the guy did have A8, so he flopped a higher 2 pair then you, so in this case it DEFINATLY was the right play. I agree with everyone else though, u cant really play that hand down with any confidence, and you definatly shouldnt be making crying calls from the flop
