| I used to think that too but you can easily made 30 BB in an hour of playing razz. |

A few days ago I bought in for $75 at a 2/4 razz table and ran it up to $150 in about 60 hands.
I've also dropped the whole wad over that same amount of time once or twice.
I don't really have the nuts and bolts of razz hammered down yet, but I'm getting to realize that when I think I'm beat, I probably am. If I can learn the mechanics of razz as well as I know it for limit hold'em, I'll be making a killing very soon. |

| Almost anybody can play Razz decently in a full ring game. Poor players are drawn to it because of the illusion of simplicity. In reality, it's deceptively slim margins of hand over hand vs. having correct pot odds to continue with a hand. There are just so many marginal situations in Razz -- the game is unplayable and unbeatable against moderatly skillfull players. |

I think the keys to winning at Razz is knowing when to dump your hand. Read the board and knowing when your beat. I can't tell you how many times my opponents pay me off by trying to fish for that river card or think there hand is best.
