I had a very tight image (not really playing that way, just getting dealt crap). I didn't really have a great read on any of the other players, most of them were playing pretty average.

Some forum pro you are GG! J/K man...but its fixed limit he is talking about.
And no, nothing you could do there. If he felt it was okay to call with second pair, then that is his own trouble. You played it as well as you could have, since nobody else would have set you up for the reraise, you couldn't call...it's unfortunate but fixed limit at that level can be a pisser. |

Yep, you get drawn out on frequently, but he was drawing to two outs on the turn and river....that's the kind of play you want in your opponent. If he wins 1 in 10 of those plays he'll consider himself brilliant while you are stacking his chips in front of you from the 9 times he failed. |

| Yeah, there's really not much you can do. You know that they're on a draw and you just have to play it out like you did and hope that they don't hit their draws and suck out on you. |

Before the flop you should have raised it again. If its reraised do it again by raising. You should have tried to take it out then. At this level you may have chasers but make them pay when you have those cards.
In limit always never leave money on table. |

| Your preflop raise was anemic at best. |

Great thought, but since it was merely called after his initial raise, there was no spot for him to reraise.
Remember Jack, as I pointed out above...it's fixed limit. |

Yes, my fault.
The river can really be a killer in FL poker. I see it all the time at the $2/$4 table at my local casino. |

Yeah. Just be assured that you had the best hand going in until the river, and most times you will take down the pot.
I would normally suggest going for a check raise, or a call then a reraise, but you were playing with too passive of a group for that play to work. |

we don't know how these individuals play their hands, but let me take a stab at this hand.
pre-flop raise was the right play. however, keep in mind that reju (who is on the button) could have any type of hand. mommer and timdo2 (who are in early positions) should probably have a high pair K-K to 10-10, A-K, A-Q or A-J suited, K-Q suited. however a high pair should have raised (but who knows, mommer is the BB so A-x suited, K-Q suited, suited connectors is worth a call with no chance of a re-raise to look at the flop)
post flop shows Ks Ts 4h. now you have a flush draw to consider. PLUS the fact that timdo2 raised from an early position. but a raise i think was the right play. make the flush draws pay to stay, and you have any pair beat.
the turn shows 8h. TWO FLUSH DRAWS. i would have checked here. i would not want to add to the pot odds with A-A when 2 flush draws are on the board. of course i would still call 1 bet with A-A, however if the bet was check/raised by mommer or timdo2, i would quietly muck my A-A. i don't think A-A is such a good hand against 3 other opponents going into the river.
the river shows Td. i am obviously not worried about the flush anymore, however 2 T's on the board. i would be worried about reju. possibly he held 2 pair K's and T's throughout (why else would he stay in under so mudh raising?) giving him a full house, or trip T's now from riding the flush draw with As-Ts. i would have checked here as well, and called 1 bet.
i don't think i would have stayed in the hand, with 3 opponents raising and calling, with As Th making middle pair. but at least you know you don't have to fear reju anymore...you have to fear the river |
