| How often did you play? How long were you inactive? Did they warn you ahead of time? |

That's very stupid.
Threatening to take people's money is supposed to make them play more? That's just bad customer service. I've heard of them doing that before. It's utterly ridiculous.
I had a an old account I hadn't used in months. I had totally forgotten about the account until I was informed by FTP about it. I think I asked them something about my affiliate account, or something. I forget. But they informed me of the old account, closed it, and credited my new account with the $.42 from the old account. It's good to know FTP isn't like Party Poker. |

yea, i dont understand why party poker would do something like that... you cant FORCE people to play by threatening to take away their money...
anyways, that same thing happened to me, but they sent me and email like two weeks before they closed my account, so i just withdrew my money from there... |

| They did it to me as well. It was just a tiny bankroll, but all of my points aswell. Not surprised, seeing as I think PP is the shadiest site I've played on. People talk about sites being a scam, I put PP in that category. I primarily base this on their ante to buy in ratio. Its massive, thus, forcing action and inflating rakes. Check their ante's per level and compare them to this site or pacific poker.(I'm not familiar with UB, PS or others) |

The ante on UB is high, at least in the low limit games.
The $.25/.50 7-Stud game has a $.10 ante, compared to FTP, which has a $.05 ante. |

| PP also closed my account. I have notified them a dozen times asking them why and they gave me the dumbest answer. I have a twin brother so I told him to open an account too. Well, since my twin has the same age, location, etc. they think I am trying to have two accounts by myself so they froze both accounts! PP asked me to scan both our driver's liscence and email it to them to prove that we are two different people. I did that over a year ago, and my account is still frozen with my money and my brother's money gone! PP sucks! |

I have only peeked into 3 sites other then FTP cause of friends recommendations.
Ive invited them all to ftp the software seems more user freindly
The site seems more organised and the support tema is great.
I dont play for money yet and will probably be a while b4 i do.
I definatley am staying at FTP and it is where my money games will be,
if i decide to get into money games.
So far have had a great time playing and meeting new ppl that
play the free roll tourneys and NL tourneys same time as i do.
GREAT WORK FTP staff designers and programers Keep it up. |

I completely agree with the nonsense of that situation. I would like to add, however, that PartyPoker is extremely soft in my experience, so if you do play (ask they require you to do!), you should be profitable. I play both here and party, and while I like the interface and features of FT much better, I also find better players here and crush the PP games far easier.
I strongly dislike that hand histories aren't a click away on Party, as they are in Full Tilt. I also hate that all ins are not face up, so cards are not shown until the winning hand has been established. To top it off, I can't just click "last hand" to see what my opponent even held! Did I suck out? Did my hand hold up? Was he a crazy player who came over the top with 2, 3 offsuit? Who knows, because I have to go searching for it. All that being said, I still play there because I find it highly profitable. If I flop a set and end up all in on a three way pot and triple up, the pot itself kind of removes the inconvenience of not knowing what my two busted competitors hold . |
