A bit touchy I see. Fresh off of losing to a runner runner two pair or something like that?
-I'm not sure what your last post is supposed to mean. |

lol, i just searched for this guy to see what level he plays at to see if that is why seemingly more bad beats happen to him, and the one hand I saw, he lost to quad 4's.
(and wall, playing .10/.25, those bad beats ARE gonna happen more because players are more willing to chase and stay in with hands they shouldnt at that low of a level.) |

AND I WILL SAY WHAT I ALWAYS SAY AND IM GETTING TIRED OF SAYING IT.
IF YOU DONT LIKE IT LEAVE!!!!!!!!

If it were rigged, it'd be so easy to "prove" it were rigged with 10k hand histories from PokerTracker.
Yet it's never been done...what opposing proof can be greater than that? |

As a frequent live player it's pretty simple to understand that Full Tilt Poker and live poker are two different games.
Yes, you do get bad beats at a live game aswell, but never can you figure when the beats are coming. On FTP you know when to expect the beats, since the losing streaks are so extreme. I can often come to a point when I lose every hand, even if it is the nuts on the turn, i'll lose to a 4outer. And this has made me money!! I have made sidebets with people who are just as stupid as the ones on here that believe that poker at FTP is regular poker. Well it's NOT.
For example, when I am in a coinflip situation, and in a losing streak, I give 3-2 that I'm going to lose the pot. Of course ignorant people believe they are getting a great deal and +EV on the bet and accepts it. Or I give even money when I'm against a flushdraw in a bad streak, and so on.
Only on FTP can I do this with confident, and it has made me money.
So for the ones that believe that we're playing real poker on FTP, it's from guys like you i make my money, so PLEASE continue to preach that FTP is just as live poker.
I am not making a statement that the site must be rigged, but the difference between live poker and "poker" on Full Tilt is very obvious. |

| everyone says it is "so obvious". you are right that online poker is different from live but not for that reason. i've had very long losing streaks at B&M where i couldn't believe how unlucky i was getting. i've had those streaks online too. the fact is that we see more hands online and these streaks can come and go so quickly and so often because of that. in a way our poker lives go by a lot faster. |

Ever watch it on tv ? ever see those "outdraws" "bad beats" etc blah ???

During the last WPT event, the eventual winner was duubed the "Suckout King" on the air.
There are bad beats on TV all the time, but normally some lame announcer declares "What poker instincts this guy has".
When I reflect on all the bad beats I have had, I can attribute tha vast majority of them to poor play on my part. I am not saying that your game is lacking, just that our perspective is frequently blurred by our sense of what should have happened. |
