I like to run 3-4 Fixed limit 9 person tables

Problem is, I really dont enjoy seeing the same people at every table, yes its online and it happens...
so...

Anyone think they ahve noticed any bots at the 1/2 2/4 Limit tables as well?

and other than that, do you liek playing the same epople or is there a better time frame to take on the recreatioal players and fish?

I have been amazed at how seldom i see the same people. I put note tabs on a lot and seldom see more that one player I've flagged. Do you think there are bots here? What exactly is a bot anyway?

I two table and only occassionally notice the same person at both tables. I can't think of a single time that I've played two people at both tables although I suppose it has happened.

I think that the (small) number of active limit tables almost forces folks playing multiple tables to play each other. If there were more limit players I think there would be less duplication.

I've had 3 tables where 2 other players were on each of them. The fewer games available, the more common this is. As long as they are worse players, its a good thing to see them at every one of your tables. Its not the end of the world if they are better than you too, just try to be better than half of your opponents and you might squeak by. If you are going to play 9 max, multi tabling is the only way to go. You might want to try 6 max as it gets you more decisions per hour which is a good thing if you feel proficient at your limit.

You mention 6 player, deadmoney, which brings up a question, how do you adjust your strategy from 9 to 6? I have avoided the 6 because it seem to me i would just lose blind ;money faster waiting for a playable hand. But i have noticed there are more 6 player tables available. So i would like to try it.

I tend to like the 6 man tables but I only play one at a time... I want to focus my hands... be agressive... less cards out, more playable hands and more catachable cards.... IMO....

But you need to read your players... any two cards can win but it still uses 5.

Like KS said, aggression factor should go up and one needs to play a wider range of cards (loosen up). There is, of course, a slippery slope to fall down in not finding a good mix for your set of opponents. My theory with 6max is that I get faced with more decisions per hour than I would with 9max and that is a good thing if I am better than half the table. If you are making better decisions than your opponents on a more rapid pace you should in theory make money faster. My PT stats reflected this so I stayed at 6max. PT has been an invaluable tool to see what hands are profitable in each position but experience more than anything is the biggest factor because you will have to constantly adjust to the different opponents available.

thanks for the compliment KGB, I always look forward to your morning run of posts--kinda like coffee. I did ok at the microlimits picking up $26 at .25/.50 in 5 sessions most of which was two table. Add that to the ~$180 I got for 2nd place in the bounty tourney + poster I was subsequently able to order... my deposit on FTP was well worth the time. Lastly, it was -a lot- of fun to play here and everyone was respectful even at the micros. I highly recommend everyone joining in on the fun the next time they offer something as nice as the bounty tourney.

When playing short-handed (6 players of fewer), Sklansky's advice recommends pretending as if you're in middle position in a 9 player game. With that adjustment, your range of playable hands increases quite a bit under the gun. Fewer opponents equals less likelihood of premium hands being played.
If you're UTG in a short-handed game, imagine you're in a nine-player game and the first three players have folded, and now the action's on you.
