Don't ask why I limped with 83, the guy in BB was tight and there were 4 people in the pot, so I decided to see the flop. I knew the ace on the turn was a bad card, but I knew amos23 was tilting a little so I didn't konw what to do. His big bets along with bbdole still being in the pot scared me enough to fold on the river. I probably would have called if bbdole wasn't in the pot... although I thought he may of been drawing since he just called both of our bets along the way. What would you have done?

that's a lot to call with 2 low pairs. a set would beat you, two higher pairs would beat you just like if you called in that hand. I'm not sure, I guess for me it would depend on how I felt that night.

I think that folding here is an easy move. Why did u play this hand in the first place?

I'd want to punch you in the head if I was amos23 for you calling out a hand with a person behind you left to act.

thats the problem with a hand like 8/3. Even if you hit the flop, its still hard to figure out what to do.
Not saying you did anything wrong, but you set yourself up for a difficult decision. I try to avoid playing those types of hands even in multiway pots because i know sometimes at some point i will have a tough decision if i flop a pair of 8s or two pair.

thank you bill nye the science guy. i don't think i would've called in that case but everyone plays diff.

preflop +'s:
1) no one showed any aggression
2) $1 with $7 in the pot

preflop -'s:
1) your hand is 8c 3h
2) you are 1st to act after flop

post flop +'s:
1) betting out not checking
2) bet was post size

post flop -'s:
1) everyone called

turn +'s:
1) realizing that ace was a bad card

turn -'s:
1) checking, i believe that if you were willing to call $22 you should've bet it out yourself

river +'s:
1) seeing that there was still one player left to act after you so if you called that wouldn't stop the betting.

2) folding

river -'s:
1) none

all in all i believe you played this hand very good. you got in when the pot was giving you 7:1 and even though you hit a good flop you were willing to let it go when you noticed that things started to go bad. nh
