|
|
Okay, I have been playing on full tilt off and on for about 6 months. I took about 2 months off due to some bad beats and played on another site.
I am wanting to get a hoodie and I notice I only have 700 points, so another 5k to go. What's the best way to get points. I play a lot of the single table tournaments, and those don't seem to get me very many points.
Is there a way to just buy the hoodie? I'd rather play the tourneys I like.
Input is appreciated.

You can also earn points playing in tournaments and Sit & Go's. Earn 7 points for every $1 in entry fees, with no limit to the number of points you can earn per tournament.
So the hoodie costs me $970 in entry fees. Yikes! Well, back to the tables. Is there a tourney you can enter to win points |

| Probablythe best way is to play NL games - they take the most rake, and if you play two tables, you can rake in at least 5-10 points per hour, even on 25/50 cent tables. |

They should have tourneys and table where you earn points, not money. UB does.
And they should have freerolls where you can earn points, and bonus dollars. UB does.
C'mon FTP, don't you wanna be more like UB?
Joking aside, UB is a good site, and the freerolls that award points, and bonus dollars are very popular. I think awarding points, and bonus dollars encourages people to deposit, or at least attracts them to the site.
I dunno, maybe it doesn't, that that's why FTP doesn't offer many freerolls. |

| UB is bonus point Mecca. You get double the points (or even more - can't remember) for all the points you get at a table where you were the first to sit down. Also, you can play with your points instead of money. And their prizes are unbelievable. for 800,000 you get a trip to Hawaii for two, and for something like 2.5 million you can get $10,000. Also a Harley Davidson, I believe. Now I feel horrible for plugging another site here, but they do have a great forum. I play on Full Tilt because I like the format better, but UB definately has the best bonus point system of any site I've looked at. |

For a $10+1 tournament, you get 7 points,
For a $20+2 tournament, you get 14 points,
and so on... |

| It's for every dollar in tournament fees, not in tournament entry costs. So if a tournament costs X+Y to enter, you get seven times Y points. |

| yeah if you play .50-1 or better, the points rack up fast, espec if you play more than 1 table at a time...I'm sitting on 75k points waiting for them to get a system closer to that of UB's |
