In case anyone is in search of some interesting reading material, pertaining to poker of course, try giving this book a read. The author, who plays online as 'wins_pot' has already received a very positive review of his book by Phil Hellmuth. In short, this novel is about the journey of three young, talented poker players seeking fame and fortune.
(From the novel:)
"You can't be a poker player who doesn't think about addiction. It's like being an eighty-year old who doesn't think about death. It's staring you in the face all the time."
Please post your opinions and thoughts on this book if you decide to read it. As always, good luck to everyone, on and off the tables. |

I'll check out the local library and see if they have it.
In the mean time my own poker fiction recommendation is: The Perfect Play by Louise Wener which follows the development of a young woman as a poker player. |

| who wants to read about woman poker player, all they do is whine and they all win cause ppl feel sorry for them. WOMEN ARE TERRIBLE cards players and it makes me sick to think of them on the same level as men. |
