how do you build a bankroll when full tilt constantly makes 5 to 10 percenters beat you. When I play perfect poker and continuously lose to inferior hands i start to believe everything is not on the upand up......

You play bad poker trust me. I dont even need to see the hands. Yes, you get beats like all of us but think to yourself in the hands you get them, did I really need to play that hand?

The sooner guys like you realise that its you that sucks arse not the software, the better. Realise it......... YOU SUCK. Now say it over and over again until you realise it. Im a long way from being a great player, but the difference is I realise it and want to learn instead of blaming FTP. Get a grip dude.

I think a big key to being able to build a bankroll is realizing that you simply do NOT play anywhere close to "perfect poker" the vast majority of the time, and continually working to get better.

If you don't have that mindset, I really hate your chances at ever being anything but a losing poker player.

You have to have some kind of planned out thought process when building a roll. Ring games, tourneys, and what to buy in for. Bad beats will happen just make sure you're not in it with your whole roll.

Find what your good at (or losing less at) and stick to that and grind it out if you want to build it up. The sooner you realise that each individual game doesn't matter and thats its all about your decisions in the long run the better

Hey Batt,

You have just been 'lemminged' by those that drink the Kool-Aid at the FTP fountain. I play here for fun and the amusement I get out of the quippers here at the forum.. When they get out of bed in the morning they get down on their knees and repeat the mantra.. It couldn't be that the software is a bit skewed? Nah.. Just because,, That's why.. After a while you will begin to see the hands you should lay off of and the ones that should be played. Not that you will never run into another bad beat again but you will just run into less of them. If you are not, at least, having fun then I suggest you don't play.. When your hot your hot and when your not your not.

wait you deposit money and play on ftp just so you can whine about it being rigged and be amused by people's responses?

Another way to improve your play is to use holdem manager or pokertracker to gather data on a table first before you actually sit down and play. Those 2 programs require at least 50 hands minimum samplings from opponents at the table before they can give you reliable data on how your opponents play. I found that this has helped me alot since I started playing here and on other sites.

good luck!

Hey littleweenie aka huJwang,

Where do you find me whining? You have to get out of Mommy's cellar every once in a while. I happen to be a retired spec-op that left a lot of myself in a stinking delta in a land far far away a long time ago.. I merely stated the obvious.. I don't really want to get into a debate with a boy with the moral terpitude of a frog. You see Tilterrick I can be civil.. I may be fighting a real urge to rain down thunder on this 'forum blight' however as you suggested I will take the high road.. As to the subject at hand, just have fun, the graphics alone are worth the price of admission. Don't bet more than you can afford to lose and don't let the wangs that live in Mommy's cellar get to you.. Choking herring can be fun...

You probably aren't playing as perfectly as you believe.
