Check withdrawal works just fine; fax'd copy of cell phone statement & DL (enlarged the DL), approved the following day, check arrived within 1 week- no problem to cash, either. |

Well, maybe there's hope.
I emailed the cashier about a week ago asking, "What's up with the check?" They responded almost immediately (last Saturday Oct 4):

Hello Pete,
Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.
According to our records, your check for $1500 was mailed by our check processor on September 9th. As of today, it has been 19 business days since this check was sent and regular USPS delivery usually takes approximately 15 business days counting processing and delivery.
We recommend placing a stop payment on your check as the estimated delivery time has passed. A stop payment may take some time to process, but once it is confirmed, we will be able to return the funds to your Full Tilt Poker account. That way you may a initiate another withdrawal to check or you can use one of our payment processors as another option for withdrawing your funds. You will find those listed through the Full Tilt Poker Cashier window once you log into your account.
Please let us know if you would like a stop payment placed on this check and we will get that request sent in for you.
|
I then emailed back on Wed morning (Oct 8) saying I would not mind waiting until the end of this week unless they thought that was futile. And if it was, I wanted them to stop payment on the check... over 3 days have passed and I haven't heard a peep.
I probably wouldn't be worried about it if FT didn't have a history of withdrawal problems to their US customers. |

Withdrawal for $4800 requested 10/2/08 1:43 am
Approved 10/3/08 3:05 p.m. (about 37.5 hours)
Received in New York City 10/11/08 via USPS.
Not too bad. Now hopefully it won't bounce! |

I'm thinking of doing a withdrawal, but don't want to if the check won't come or if it's just going to bounce
should I withdraw or just piss it away at the 3/6 tables lol |

| I did a couple of withdrawals this month and they both went very smoothly. The last check came within a week of the request. |

Tue, Oct 14, 7 pm - FT emailed me to say they would stop payment on that check... and that it typically takes 1 to 3 business days for the funds to get credited back to my account.
Fri, Oct 17, 10 am - Funds still not in my account. I emailed FT to ask about the status.
Fri, Oct 17, 4 pm - FT emailed back to say the "stop payment" request is still in process. For security reasons, they are unable to return the funds to my account until they receive confirmation from their check processor... I can understand that, but why is this taking so long?
Needless to say, I'm feeling a bit uneasy about this. |

Ok, funds arrived back in my account this afternoon... phew.
I now have the bank transfer option again, so I'm in the process of trying that. It went smoothly back in March, so I'm expecting the same quick/easy/'no fee' transaction. Will give another update later this week. |

Hopefully the bank transfer works better for you, heh.
I'd hate to see more FT withdrawal woes after all the problems they had this summer. |
