Hi i was thinking it would be a great feature if you some cash tables (particularily plo) that had the feature of SB/BB/2xBB rather than the usual SB/BB tables.

I believe to make this work you would have to make the tables deep tables or else even superdeep (= 400BBs).

Any one like this idea> Obviously its not mine, just borrowed from the brick and mortar poker world, but they are a lot of fun to play!

Please don't add the stradle option. Super deep tables is not a bad idea, as long as you add antes. Then all of the live pros will obviously pwn internet players.

Please no straddle. Its annoying enough if someone doesnt have auto post blinds on so u have to wait 7 secs for them to post or time out, I dont want another 7 for someone to decide to straddle or not

Could always just make it a check box, with no button to press. If it's unchecked, no straddle. If it's checked, auto straddle. No waiting involved.

also there is no obligation to sit at such a table. The ppl who want to play with a straddle would play these tables and there should be no problem.
If you have concerns like these(non auto-posters), there is plenty of other tables, especially fast tables, which should suit you if you dislike ppl not auto posting.

The main thing here is whether or not people think straddle tables are a good idea and would they catch on?? i can't see why not. Personally id love em as im an action junkie.

Perhaps they would have to be 9max or 8max tables as the 6max tables would be too small i think.

(edit:) -another idea: the blinds would go SB/BB/2xBB automatically and have a check-box option to straddle 4xBB, when everyone on the table checks this box everyone straddles for a full round, then should someone uncheck it, when the round is finished, it should return to SB/BB/2xBB

Straddle check box should look like:

[x] 4xBB (6/8 -players have checked it)
[ ] 8xBB (2/8 -players have checked it)
etc. ...

i guess this requires that players stay at the table until they have posted their share or the straddles that they agreed to, or go broke.

please do this full tilt.

missing the point.

a straddle loosens up the game and ppl gamble more.

more gamble = more action = better game.

It gives you the option of making a bet of 2x the Big Blind without looking at your cards. Like the blinds, you get the option to bet when it comes back around to you. For the rest of that hand, the stakes are doubled. (In a NL or PL game that means the min bet is doubled, but few people make a min bet/raise anyway.)

IF this should ever come I really, really hope this will be restricted to a few tables/limit.

there are few things I find more annoying than the straddle,....especially when you are like the only person at the table that doesn't Rolling Eyes
