$55 NL S&G last night (Party Poker). About the 3rd hand, I'm on the button and pick up AA. Bunch of limpers, I raise about 4 times the blind, guy utg calls, 3 other callers. Flop comes Q77. First guy bets out, two callers, I re-raise, he re-raises, folds to me I go all-in. I read this guy like a book, he turns over QJs after his all-in call. A's/7's versus Q's/7's, about a 90% favorite in this position. Turn is a blank, river is a big shiny QUEEN. What can you do, got it all in with that win percentage, got cracked. It happens, but man it stings. Wound up winning $400 in blackjack to cheer me up though Smile Moral of the story is...yes, bad beats happen every day, don't blame the website, don't blame card rigging, just don't play outside of your bankroll, keep putting yourself in favorable positions, and keep the whining to a minimum. Ahh, much better.

I agree it is not the website. Although Party poker is the worst for bad beats. An over pair prefolp is an 80/20 favorite. So you should win 4 to 1. I have tracked and i lose about 20% of the time with an over pair. What kills me is the same as you when you when they hit after 90/10 fav. I had a guy hit a 1 outer on the river today to beat. I guess what seems weird is that 80% of the time when I catch a bad beat it is for all of my chips. i guess I need to learn that control. I just got beat again by a one outer and then by a 2 outer so enought ****
