That is a pretty good group of receivers, let's not throw the word "great" around, especially when Randy McMichael is involved...and it does take someone who can get the ball there, and with the two-headed monster of Frerotte and Feeley the Dolphins have one of the five worst QB situations in the league. It may get better, but right now you can list 25 guys you would rather have throwing the ball to your receivers.

The Vikings O-coordinator may or may not have been a good one, with weapons like Culpepper and Moss it would be hard not to post some big scores and big numbers. If he can do the same with this group then he will definitely be worthy of some kudos...

Again, Ricky Williams will be hard pressed to be the 1,800 yard, 4.8 YPC runner that he was in his prime. We will see if his abilities--and desire--remain intact as the season wears on.

I'm not saying Miami will go 3-13...but I think a 7-9 win season from this bunch would be respectable, and quite a nice year-over-year improvement.

I'm going to have to break with conventional wisdom and say it'll be Phil Gordon.

Say what you want, call it a joke, but I bet he could still beat Miami. :p

Whats yours ?

I'm going with the Broncos. I think with Tatum Bell starting at RB, and a revamped D line they'll go all the way. Ashley Lelee is looking like a star wideout, Jake should be in good form.

Broncos. All the way.

as of now, tatum bell isnt starting, its mike anderson

They have him back plus the best rookie running back this year.

you mean the best rookie running back who couldnt start on his own college team??? yup, thats him lol

miami is going nowhere...now im not gonna be ignorant and say fins suck, blah blah blah, college coaches suck in the NFL etc. etc., but you know your team is in trouble with Gus Frerotte as the front runner for the starting QB gig

i think a team thats gonna surprise a lot of people are the Jets...signed Ty Law and i read an article that said Curtis Martin is working on his speed (at 32 years old!!!!)

i think theyre ready

Yeah, you must be right. He was only the top rated running back in the draft. All those people that do the ratings for a living must be wrong and you must be right. Sorry I should of asked you first.

Auburn ran a 2 back system. Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams both started.

Miami is my sleeper pick. My overall pick would have to be the Pats to repeat but half the people are going to say the Pats so I thought I'd mix it up a little and pick a sleeper who will do some damage and has an outside chance to actually make the superbowl if some things fall their way. Miami is going to be a much improved team. Completely unbiased this would be my picks:
AFC Colts-Pats
winner Pats

NFC Falcons-Eagles
winner Falcons

Superbowl Pats-Falcons
winner Pats

I like the way KGB thinks. Carolina/Indy with Carolina winning was my original SB prediction also.
