The minimum is $35-$40/hour for the pros. They receive 100% rakeback, and Team Full Tilt own stock in Full Tilt. |
Fulltilt isn't a public stock so they can't own stock in the company |
Wait a sec.........Full Tilt is not an American corporation, is it?
As far as I can see, which isn't very far, monopolizing online poker is Not out of the question.
On the rake thing, having seen Ivey and the others at PA's table the other night, I was seeing a whopping $3 rake being taken on $60,000 pots.
For the pros, I don't think the rake thing is that important.
For anyone getting a new slice of the pie, it has to be point something with the something possibly preceded by a zero.
All of the red names doesn't make much sense to me, either. However, the only thing it effs up is Fantasy Poker.
Some of those red names don't have to do with playing but involvement on the commercial side, such as the guys with Cardrunners. They seemed almost too busy to even appear at the WSOP. |

| +1. Where can I apply for a red name? =P. I also agree on Durr, FT should endorse him. |

I love low limit pros. Pros at 1/2~5/10 limits are real big losers. Also, they provide for the FTP tourny bounty so its good deal. We need more players who think they are 'mad nice at poker' to turn pro so they can get that red status and come play at the low limit with us true grinders.
But I do read up on the FTP pros and all of the Team FTP and Team CR are very respectable players with career to show for it. I don't think PROs get paid for playing on FTP, they get paid for wearing FTP gears on TV and going on commercials; I don't think they are related to the poker program as far as what they get paid. |

I wonder if FTP would consider introducing a "Color System" - maybe something like:
Red - FT Pros
Blue - Semi-Pros/Online monsters (Ziig, Durrr, etc...)
Green - Friends of FTP/Celebrities
This way they could cut down on the number of relatively-unknown red pros that seem to flooding the games as of late.
Just a thought,

| FYI, Craig Marquis is at the FT of the WSOP ME. He's a well known online tournament player and is very good. |
