Just wondering what you think is the best Omaha book out there, or if there are any good ones that I have not listed. My preference is PLO, but I'm not ruling out reading books about limit, or hi/lo.
Please post thoughts in a message as well. Thanks! |

| I'm interested to here what others have to say here too. I haven't read a book solely about Omaha, but Doyle's Super System 2 has a section on it which has certainly helped my game. I'd give it a 7.5/10. |

| No poker books for me, but I've been told on more than one occasion that SS2 section is very good. I am pretty sure that Championship Omaha is a good read as well. |

Ciaffone - great at explaining the basics
Slotboom - interesting, and worth reading to understand what the short-stackers are up to
McEvoy/Cloutier - a great read, very enjoyable, but maybe a bit dated
Farha - very disappointing: basically a set of anecdotes, and half of those are about hold'em hands
Reuben - an interesting quiz format, but Reuben is notoriously laggy; you could score 75% just by answering "raise pot" to every question
Hwang - in my opinion, best for progressing beyond beginner status
Then again, my opinion counts for very little - I enjoy Omaha, but my records prove conclusively that I'm hopeless at it. |
