His card reader must be fast, and Hal must make his decisions even quicker.

I would really actually like to know how this is set up for him, if he has someone read his cards for him and makes the clicks...

i doubt someone does read for him. with audio output i think it is very possible for a blind person to do stuff like playing poker. he can also use audio input to control a lot of stuff. maybe he does not need a mouse at all? the concrete setup would be very interesting though.

i imagine a sexy voice telling him: you have drawn KsKdTsQd and he answers "raise pot" Smile

i know some guys who have issues with writing who use voice input to write posts in forums or write email. actually the posts are often much better then the ones i see from many average persons. =o

something like this will be used: http://www.abilityhub.com/vision/blind.htm

still... maybe we can get this guy to post a video on youtube? Very Happy

well apparently he has a reader better than what he had at party poker, and they have a system down that is supposedly quite good: http://www.aintluck.com/hal-lubarsky-reveals-technique-for-playing-poker-blind/

I've met hal at the mirage, i live here in vegas, he got me into the rakeback program via full tilt, and since i play plo high its the ONLY reason to play here because full tilts plo games are notoriously much nitter than other sites.

Hal gives some other information about how he does it online and offline in an interview with AintLuck.com:
