I was in the big blind with [Ac 7h 6h 10c] , Person UTG raised 2x the big blind, every1 else folded, i had put him on AA or KK, so i called it to see a flop, flop comes [10d 6c 4h] i bet the pot, and he raised all in with the short stack, so i called him cause i had top 2 pair , plus i didn't see that board as a threat, plus i had put him on AA or KK, he had [As Ad Js 3s]
so all he had at this moment was a pair of aces turn came a [3h] then the river came [3d] . then later i was shouting abuse at him in the chat box. not pleased at all lol Very Happy

+1

This is my favorite part of omaha, when people go all in with their aces or kings when low cards come out. If you had a set instead of two pair, he'd be dead to the last two aces, yet for many players, their money would still go into the pot. The guy with the aces usually lets me know what a bad player I am for calling his raise with TT98 or something similar.

+3, can always tell when people got AA in omaha, lowstakes especially. most of the time you can get payed off on their over aggresiveness too

wtf? have you ever even played poker? 2x raise utg and they must have AA or KK? lol......... same goes for the OP.

Omaha is, in my opinion, one of the most skilled types of poker available. There are a lot more hand variations abailable every deal, and the majroity, one of the best 3 possible hands will win.

Low stakes omaha, you'd be surprised how often certain unskilled players will raise only with a high pocket pair. Obviously its not 100% the case, but when a guy never/seldom raises for several orbits, then raises UTG, its true often enough that its profitable to put him on AAxx or KKxx. When they then reraise a flop as random as T64 rainbow, its a pretty good bet they've overplayed their aces.

Finding players who like to stack off on their aces is my absolute favorite part of omaha.
