Of course there's other ways to do it, but you got your money in ahead... so why would you want to do it any other way? Aces in omaha are misplayed after the flop AAQQ single suited is absolutely a premium hand. His hand is also playable, but he has no business reraising with it.

You were ahead when the money went in 72:28, which is pretty much as good as it gets preflop in omaha. Any time I'm nearly 3:1 to win, I'll take those odds any day of the week. Bad luck, but that's going to happen a little more than once out of every 4 times in such a situation.

Of course if you could have known all the hole cards and boards cards before the hand started there would be a good chance of winning this hand with a limp..call preflop...then a bet or raise on the flop, depending on whether he bets out. At this level that might not of worked anyway, lol. I cant believe how hard the rake is! 10% kills you if your bankroll is low. I am really angry at full tilt about this. why they punish the players trying to start out way more then the higher levels makes no sense. If you ever have the choice, play poker stars starting out. Never play 5c/10c on tilt if you can avoid it. neways you played this hand perfectly in this situation. One time you would play this diiferently is if the 10$ at the table was the only money you had. imo you should play defensively if your unable to reload. If you do have only $10 and the min. buy in is 2$ I would buy in for $2 five times $2.50 four times or $3.30/$3.30/$3.40 your choice. I would pick the latter. This way when a hand like this comes up you can take the 75/25 shot or whatever it was, and not go broke. It always amazes me how badly some people play kkxx preflop in plo. Most likely they are holdem players. The other time i strongly believe in not getting all in preflop like this with 75/25 odds for you. Is in the middle late stage of a plo mtt and you are one of the chip leaders and are going up against a player whose stack can cripple you. When i'm a chip leader midlate in mtts I play xtremely passively for long streches. Then when the time is right slowly start to change over to the aggresive side, then the final table comes and you really turn on the heat.

If you smooth call the $2.40 pre, you can't really put any money in the pot with that flop, as his reraise shouldn't be with a KK49 but more of a 789T or 89TJ.
