this is a crazy thread huh? I have to admit, I catch some crazy bad beats on FTP, more than on the other online poker site I play on. But I am up more money on FTP than on the other, that is why I stay.
I like the site, people and games on FTP. But as others have said, I wish there was a legit gaming commishion that could actually monitor everything. If you guys knew how to make an engine and then write the code to make poker software, which I somewhat understand as Ive taken many computer science/computer programming classes in college, you would understand its not hard to manipulate any code. There are literally millions of lines of code, especially for a program like poker, and if you wrote 2-3 lines that could change things, it really could have a big influence over the course of playing so many hands.
Im not saying the site is rigged at all, what Im saying is any site that does not have a legit gaming commission COULD be tampered with even in a minute way to change things. |

It's not difficult to manipulate the code to deal setup hands. The difficulty comes in doing it in such a way that
a.) it increases the rake enough to be profitable enough to justify the risk
b.) it doesn't create a statistical aberration that players who datamine would be able to find
That task is significantly more difficult. Considering the lack of proof based on sizable samples, it's reasonable to say that the game is not, in fact, rigged. |

| basketball, I think you're a logical person, so I am not trying to rip you on this... but what is it that makes you think the Kahnawake Gaming Commission is not a "legit" gaming commission? It's a bunch of ignorant whiners in this thread trying to discredit them, and often with little more justification than they are "a bunch of featherheads". Pretty horrible that to this day we still carry prejudices against groups that never did any harm to us. To this day, we still treat Native Americans and African Americans like dirt, but we have no ill will toward Japanese or German people, who did more harm to us in 4 years than anyone else ever did. Pretty ignorant IMO. |

| well ive played online for about three years. And i have realized im a victim of a scam no major wins online but 40k in live ternys what am i doing wrong!!!!!!! Always in with the best hand just to get sucked out when it counts the most.. SCAMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i mean suck outs. I WOULD PREFFER TO GET IN WITH THE WORST HAND 14% VRS 85% ALWAYS LOOSE TO THE 14% ON FULL TILT |
