Normally, I push here without much thought, but there were 3 or 4 pretty loose players who I could see calling with hands like A8, KJ, hands like that...who knows, maybe worse...including the big stack and the BB. Do you still push and hope you can win the blinds and maybe double up in a race or can I wait for a better spot?

| Push. If you wait until the blinds pass you'll only have 685 in chips. Also, the bb doesn't have enough chips to call without a real hand, and the big stack is only in the sb, and less likely to call. You don't wanna fold and have to push with a marginal hand against a bigger stack next round. |

| Well, the goddamn mental retard in the BB called with QTo and hit trips on the flop. And check out my post about a guy calling an all-in re-raise with 97s. Or the post about a guy calling a 3.5x preflop raise with 95s. All at the $30+3 level and all within 1.5 hours this morning in three different SnGs. Sorry to complain...I don't expect pros at the $30 level, but was shocked to see calibre of play that low. Is it because it's the early morning in eastern North America and you have maniacal Europeans playing during their lunch breaks? No offense to the Europeans, but I find their play on average to be much worse than that of the North Americans. |

At the $2 level I noticed that as well. They seem to be WAY more aggressive with very marginal hands.
I would push there as well given your chip stack. |

| My first hunch would be to push. But using the online applicator at Icmpoker.com. I set the players as progressively looser as they get closer to BB, with the big blind calling with any hand in the top 16%. And QTo is pretty close to the top 16%. The program said only push with 99+, or AQ+. So according to that, fold. I also tried setting the calling ranges tight with players calling only with a top ten hand, and it still said the best play was to fold. However if you know the blinds will be going up next hand, push. |
