| I have a horrible problem at playing within my roll. I have a roll of about 3,000. I've been successful from the bottom all the way up to 20/40....but which limit is right. Because variance in razz can be quite the ****. |

Not specifically a Razz answer, but general rule of thumb for limit games is that you should have at least 300 big bets in your bankroll.
So for your situation, you'd be bankrolled for $5/$10. |

| I wish I knew. I haven't logged enough hours (or run any simulations) to know from personal experience. I know 300 BBs is recommended for limit hold 'em, 400 BBs is recommended for 7-stud, and 150 BBs is recommended for Omaha Hi-Lo. This is all assuming you're a winning player of course. I don't think razz is as volatile as stud, but beyond that I can't say. When in doubt, play it safe. Once you lose your bankroll, it's gone. |

| For stud variants I'd advise 500BB's, although between 300-500BB's is common. |

This is only true if you play a loose game with a lot of speculative hands in a lot of multiway pots. If you play a TAG style well and stick with mostly premium hands, you may not be able to achieve the maximum winrate but you'll keep your variance way down and be able to play with a 250-300 BB roll. Of course, you must always be willing to drop down in limits if you go on a big downswing or risk going bust! |

A more specific question.
What if i wanna play razz hu cash? How big should be my bankroll? Should I use the same advices you give for the normal (9 players) ring games?
(I really would like to play hu cash: unfortunately Fulltilt just organize table for 1$/2$ at least. 600$ minimum?)
