O my god i cant belive it ive never see quite like this before.
People of the razz community,(not hold em spastics)my community,
have u noticed recently on the medium stake razz cash games say 5/10 and 20/40 onwards that you get a lot of players that play a couple of hands then sit out,
then sit back in half hour later win a pot then sit back out again and then repeat.
What a liberty and how rude,so basically win a pot of someone then sit out and dont come back for an hour, so the person that loses has no chance of winning her money back, that is the pits.

Surely theres people out there who agrees with me that this is wrong morally.
I wont name no names but the people that do it our well known and most of em probably read this forum and know who they are.
So if your reading sort your life out and have some sort of manners you low life.

So, am I right in assuming that you are one of those who lose to them ... and can't figure out how to beat them when they're not there?

LOL not at all dear boy,its not anger. Far from it , but i do end up in a lot of cash tables these days with it full but half the table sitting out which is a real pain because i do prefare a full 8 man table and these days its getting ridiculous.Iam playing 3 handed a lot with a full table and that aint rite.
I think IMO to solve this problem people that sit out should only be given a few minutes before being chucked of the table.
Because at the moment they have like about 20 mins and it aint on at all.

Sometimes when I am busy, and know I know I am gonna be in and out of a game, I'll play an ante game. Don't have to wait for the bb, and don't have to worry about having to leave being on the button.

+1. It's not a question of having the chance to win back my money (imo), it's a question of someone taking up a seat at the table that another player may be waiting for and making the game shorthanded to boot. I try to only ever sit out 5 mins max if I need a break for some reason... that's all you get in a tourney so I've gotten pretty good at that routine, but others abuse the rules about when your stack gets picked up.

p.s. note to mods: although Katie is brash, abrasive, and often insulting she is by far the best reason to read this forum

katie,
doesn't happen just in razz, and certainly this problem is not exclusive to tilt.
sad part is, they don't usually engage the sit-out timers unless someone joins the waiting list for that table. The sites have to start realizing that this
scenario, as katie described [8-handed w/ 5 sitters-stars parlance for sit-outs] can have an effect on the rake they bring in.

If you can convince them of that, I guarantee the policy will change.
