Maybe if it was "Pot Limit" more people would play Stud? It's a shame, Stud is such a great game.

Spread limit stud would probably be a good compromise between the increased pot size and action of pot-limit without turning the game into a shove-fest.

Bring in Mississippi style stud for pot limit.

1st betting round: two down-one up.

2nd round: You get two cards up right away.

3rd round: One card up

4th round: Your last card is up.

So two down 5 up total only four betting rounds. Great for Pot Limit. Try it in a home game.

There's another version where you get three hole cards and one up to start, total 8 cards. You can only use two of your hole cards though. You can still use just one or none of them, just not all three.

Yeah, noticed that.

Sometimes hard to find a game, and forget about stud sit n gos.

I'll still play, it's my best game. If I would stop playing NLHE STs, I'd have alot more money in my account. Razz
